The Tickler File, one of the key "incubate" systems recommended in the book Getting Things Done by David Allen and is an elegant system for holding materials for possible future action or review. Documents, notes, reminders of all sorts can be directly filed in this file set of 43 folders to automatically trigger action and/or review when needed, without loading up daily planners or getting lost in miscellaneous storage. If you want to be reminded to handle something in the future, but don't want or need to think about it until then, it can be -tickled to show up exactly on the day or month you'd like to see it again. Use it to file away birthday cards to be mailed exactly on the date you need to put them in the mailbox, note the day you need to buy tickets to the musical or airline fair. Put any support material for the month on the date you need to be reminded and then quick worrying about it! The GTD Tickler file consists of 43 sturdy plastic letter size file folders, open on three sides. Twelve are printed with the months of the year and thirty one folders with the days of the month. This product is expensive to ship. One tickler file set of 43 folders weighs six pounds which causes the shipping fee to increase.
